Glazier in Burpengary

Burpengary and Narangba sit on the same stretch of the northern corridor, and both are heavily detached-house suburbs. The difference is age. Burpengary’s housing stock is more established, and established houses bring established wear: original aluminium frames from an earlier building era, hardware that’s had two decades of use instead of five years, and louvres or sliders that were standard when the house was built but have since been superseded.

At 83.5% separate houses, Burpengary is still solidly a detached-housing suburb, just not a brand-new one. A lot of what we replace here is original to the home: a slider that’s tracked thousands of open-and-close cycles, a window that was never upgraded when the rest of the house was renovated, louvre blades that have gone brittle.

We fabricate to the opening as it stands today, which matters more on an established house because decades of minor settling can shift a frame slightly out of true. A stock-size replacement can bind or gap in an opening like that. Measuring and building to the actual dimensions avoids it.
